With the help of sources from Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona has disclosed their plan to trade Jadon Sancho to Manchester United.
Despite making appearances in the first three matches of the season, the England international was eliminated from the competition when they were defeated by Arsenal. It was disclosed by Coach Erik Ten Hag that Sancho has a negative attitude about training.
Instantaneously, the former Dortmund star blasted Ten Hag, the coach, for giving false information. Due to disciplinary issues, the Old Trafford team instantly and indefinitely suspended Sancho from playing for the organisation.
There were rumors circulating earlier that Sancho could be reinstated to the first team if he issued an apology. Nevertheless, the England footballer is no longer able to pursue that course of action.
When the transfer market opens in January 2024, Manchester United is prepared to sell Sancho, who is rumored to have no chance of returning to the team. As a result, Manchester United is exploring the possibility of exchanging Sancho for Raphinha, a player who is also experiencing a decline in popularity at Camp Nou.
On the other hand, Mundo Deportivo said that Barcelona has “ruled out” the possibility of signing Sancho due to the fact that the Catalan Giant does not have any plans to acquire the winger from the club.
Additionally, the source asserts that Raphinha is regarded as “untouchable” during the transfer window that will take place in January 2024. If they obtain a substantial compensation for the Brazil international player, then and only then will they contemplate selling Raphinha during the summer of the following year.
Raphinha moved from Leeds United to Barcelona after he signed a contract worth £55 million dollars. In 65 games for the Spanish champions, he has contributed 12 goals and 17 assists to the team’s total.
