After a “naughty incident” on 24 minutes, both sides fought.
Alejandro Garnacho knocked Bayern’s Kingsley Coman against the pitchside hoardings while trying to pass him.
The two fought before the Man Utd player accidently threw Bayern against the boards.
The French star’s teammates ran to confront Garnacho, who swiftly gained support.Coman survived the melee when the referee intervened and the game continued without punishment.
The official was confident nothing nefarious had happened, but others disagreed.
Former Chelsea and Blackburn striker Chris Sutton told BBC Radio 5 Live: “I think Garnacho is a bit naughty there.”
Some viewers seemed to agree.A fan tweeted: “Clear foul by Garnacho on Coman but not given.”
