Young star Micah Hamilton surprised in his Man City debut

Micah Hamilton scored his first goal for Manchester City in just 19 minutes of action during his debut.

The twenty-year-old player handed his club the lead in their most recent Champions League group stage match, which was played away from home against Red Star Belgrade.

In his first game for Manchester City, which was played against Red Star Belgrade, Micah Hamilton scored.

To get the ball in position to blast it past the goalkeeper and into the roof of the net, Hamilton neatly sidestepped a defender and got the ball in the right position.

He made history by becoming the fifth-youngest Englishman to score on their Champions League debut when he did it at the age of twenty-one years and thirty days.

At the age of 19 years and 316 days, he boasts the distinction of becoming the youngest player to score on their debut since Marcus Rashford in September of 2017.

Another young player, Oscar Bobb, was also on aim when he scored his first senior goal after the break, doubling City’s lead. Bobb’s strike was also on target.

“Remember the name…” was the comment that one of Hamilton’s supporters made on social media in response to his goal.

“Who needs Haaland when we have Micah lol,” exclaimed a third admirer in response to the previous statement.

Among the many people who were captivated by Bobb’s exhibition, there was a fan who yelled, “Oscar Bobb 2027 Ballon d’Or winner.” Yes, I have already arrived.”

“Hear me out, City fans—Oscar Bobb is superior to Foden in that middle,” remarked another commentator. “Hear me out.”

The injury that Erling Haaland sustained on Sunday prevented him from participating in the victory over Luton, and he was not named in the squad for this match either.

Hamilton, on the other hand, made his debut with the senior team while leading the line for Pep Guardiola in Serbia.

He became famous for his performance as a ball boy in May of 2017, six years ago, following a 5-0 victory over Crystal Palace. This triumph caused him to go viral.

Guardiola drew the 13-year-old player over to him during the game and instructed him to send the ball back to the team in a more expedient manner.

When Hamilton was only 13 years old, Pep Guardiola instructed him to pick up the pace of his play.

In addition to serving as the current captain of City’s under-21 team, Hamilton has been a part of the team for a total of twelve years.

During the year 2011, the former England under-16 international joined the academy of the team that won the Treble. He was just eight years old at the time.

Prior to the match that took place on Wednesday, City had already secured their place in the round of sixteen by virtue of their status as the group champions.

They had already removed RB Leipzig from second place after winning five of their first six games, and finally, they completed a perfect six with a victory in Belgrade by a score of 3-2.
