Barcelona exploring two alternatives as wait continues for €40 million payment from German investors
Despite the fact that Libero Football Finance AG, a company that was intended to join forces with Bridgeburg Invest, Barca Vision’s commercial brand, has pledged to pay Barcelona forty million euros, Barcelona is fighting against the odds to get the promised amount.
As it turns out, however, Libero has until the 15th of December to make the payment, and everything points to the fact that these money will not materialize when it became clear that the relationship between the parties involved had reached a stumbling block.
According to the sources, this transpired as a result of Barcelona’s request to Libero to make advance payments in the month of August itself. This was done in order for Barcelona to facilitate the incorporation and registration of new players.
Due to the fact that the German company did not make any payments, Barcelona was compelled to provide a guarantee of twenty million euros.
