Barcelona’s homepage confirmed that striker Vitor Roque officially arrived at Camp Nou, with a long-term contract until June 2031.

According to reports from Spain, Barca may debut their rookie on January 5, during a trip to Las Palmas’s stadium, within the framework of round 19 of La Liga 2023/24.

This morning (December 29), Vitor Roque was present in Catalan and carried out many meaningful activities on the official launch day of the new club, such as: answering the press conference, going to the traditional room, checking health care, visiting famous places in Catalunya.

Barca’s homepage said: “He is here. Vitor Roque arrived in Barcelona early Wednesday morning and is enjoying his first hours as a Barca player in the Catalan capital.”

“The Brazilian striker has signed a contract until June 30, 2031, which has a buyout clause set at €500m (£434.7m).”

“Vitor Roque is in town! The 18-year-old Brazilian international striker, who joined FC Barcelona from Athletico Paranaense, had a fun but busy first day as a Barca player in the capital. Catalan Dollar”.

Vitor Roque moved to Athletico Paranaense last year and he has appeared for the club 81 times, scoring 28 goals and providing 11 assists during this time.

The 18-year-old made his debut for Brazil in March, playing the last 25 minutes of a 2-1 loss to Morocco at that time.

Barcelona also confirmed that Vitor Roque will train with his new teammates for the first time today, as the players begin returning to the training facility after the winter break.
