Liverpool Faces Nervous Wait on Dominic Szoboszlai’s Injury

Liverpool is anxiously awaiting news on the injury sustained by Dominic Szoboszlai during Monday’s 4-2 victory against Newcastle. Szoboszlai, who was substituted for Ryan Gravenberch in the second half, is believed to have suffered a hamstring injury, prompting concerns about his availability for the upcoming FA Cup clash with Arsenal.

Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool’s manager, expressed the team’s concern during the post-match interview, acknowledging the original plan to substitute Szoboszlai but revealing the unfortunate timing of the injury. 

Klopp stated, “We wanted to take him off, that was the plan. But unfortunately it was somehow a minute late because in the last situation he felt the hamstring. Now we don’t know the extent of it, obviously, so we have to wait.”
