Barcelona’s ‘all black’ away shirt for 2024-25 campaign lеаƙеԀ on social media

The path that Barcelona and Nike have been on together has been quite lengthy.

Despite the fact that the Catalan jersey has nearly grown inseparable from the sports manufacturer based in the United States over the course of time, it is currently unclear how long the association will endure.

The two organizations are currently dealing with significant disagreements in their understanding, and it is highly possible that they will part ways in the not too distant future. In spite of this, business must continue until it is officially confirmed otherwise, and a recent leak reveals that Nike has already begun working on the team’s uniform for the 2024-25 season.

It was announced by Esvaphane that the away jersey that Barcelona would wear during the 2024-25 season will once again include black as the primary color. After the black-and-gold jersey that the squad wore around four years ago, this will be the first time that the aggressive motif has been selected.

Blaugrana stripes will be used to embellish the black basis, and they will be attached to the collars, sleeves, and the dominating side strap. Further, the Nike swoosh and the Barcelona crest are both designed with a black-on-black color scheme and a stunning red-blue outline that fades away from the center.

A rich red color is used for the name and logo of the principal sponsor, Spotify, which is located in the middle of the shirt. It is important to note that the sponsor logo does not have a fading gradient. We anticipate that the shirt will be available beginning in July of 2024.

A farewell to Nike?

There is a current agreement between Nike and Barcelona that is worth approximately €150 million plus an additional €50 million. This agreement is valid until 2028. However, the Catalans believe that the aforementioned sum does not adequately represent the results that the team has generated, and as a result, they are requesting a bigger investment.

If it turns out that the relationship between Barcelona and Nike is as terrible as it seems likely to be, then Puma and New Balance are in a good position to take over as the primary sponsors of the team.

It is possible that they will take over the production of shirts beginning with the 2025-26 season. If this occurs, the jersey that was mentioned earlier might be Barcelona’s final away shirt to have the Nike emblem for a considerable amount of time.
