Playing alongside former Barcelona rival Lionel Messi, the 38-year-old has been linked to a switch with less than a year remaining on his current contract with Carlo Ancelotti’s team. Co-owner Damid Beckham has reportedly mentioned the Croatian as a possible signing, given his limited playing time for Los Blancos this season, according to sources from The Dubroŋnik Times.

The biggest uncertainty for Inter Milan is if Modric’s salary cap would let him to join the team. Recently, Messi, Jordi Alba, and Sergio Busquets moved to the United States, while Luis Suarez is a member of Gerardo Martino’s team.
