Over the past few weeks, Ronald Araujo, a defender for FC Barcelona and the third captain of the team, has been widely connected with a player transfer to Bayern Munich.

The manager of the Bavarians, Thomas Tuchel, and the director of the team, Christoph Freund, have made it clear that they are interested in signing the Uruguayan international player, who is 24 years old.

A move is no longer a possibility for the Bundesliga champions, despite the fact that they were willing to pay a significant amount of money to get Araujo during the current transfer window. When it comes to the summer transfer window, however, they continue to be interested in the center back and are even willing to pay a price of one hundred million euros for him.

Nevertheless, Manchester United has emerged as a potential purchaser of Ronald Araujo, who is now playing for Barcelona. Bayern Munich is not the only club interested in acquiring Araujo.

According to rumors from Sky Sports Germany (with a citation from iMiaSanMia), Manchester United has also expressed interest in acquiring Araujo from Barcelona.

According to the report, the Premier League team has even made inquiries about the Uruguayan international player, whose current market value is estimated to be seventy million euros.

Despite the fact that he had one of his worst performances as a player for Barcelona last night against Real Madrid, the defender is still a quality player with age on his side, and as a result, the interest in his services is not surprising.

It would appear that a winter transfer for Araujo, whether it be to Manchester United or Bayern Munich, is exceedingly improbable at this point in time, despite the fact that both clubs would be willing to make significant financial investments.
