Lionel Messi and his teammates entered their first match in 2024 as guests in a friendly match with El Salvador. This is also the debut match of striker Luis Suarez for Inter Miami.

Before this match, El Salvador had not won their last 17 matches in all competitions. Therefore, Inter Miami and individual Lionel Messi are expected to create a convincing performance on the Cuscatlan field.
