Another instance took place a year earlier in the FA Cup, with Virgil van Dijk scoring a late winner on his Liverpool debut, capitalizing on Pickford’s failure to claim a corner.

Liverpool players Curtis Jones and Cody Gakpo, who had not made their debuts at the time, recently watched and reacted to these moments while ranking their team’s best cup goals. The duo couldn’t contain their laughter as they criticized Pickford’s errors in the clips.

Jones praised Van Dijk’s header, but Gakpo humorously questioned Pickford’s actions, asking, “What is the goalie doing, mate?” Jones joined in, repeatedly asking, “What is he doing?”
