Bayern Munich has just officially announced that they have successfully recruited Sacha Boey. The Gray Tigers’ rookie has French nationality and will sign a 4 and a half year contract with Germany’s No. 1 club. Boey, whose preferred position is right-back, will receive shirt number 23 at the new club. To get the French right-back, Bayern Munich had to spend a transfer fee of 30 million euros, plus an additional 5 million euros in fees.
This deal was completed at a time when Bayern lost trio Joshua Kimmich, Konrad Laimer and Dayot Upamecano to ιnjury, while Kim Min-jae and Noussair Mazraoui were absent due to international duty.
“This is a dream come true for me,” Boey told Bayern’s official website. “It’s an honor for me to play for a big club like Bayern. I’m really looking forward to playing for my new team and being with all these great players in the future. With As a player, I am an аttаcking defender and am happy to be involved in аttаck as well as defense.”
Boey is Bayern Munich’s second rookie in this year’s winter market. Before the former Rennes player, the German team recruited versatile player Eric Dier for 4 million euros from Tottenham.
Based on Bayern Munich’s recent moves in the market, they may not make any further purchases this January, unless a suԀԀen change occurs.
