In a recent announcement, Barcelona disclosed that Gavi has made significant progress toward his recovery.
The 19-year-old player will not be able to participate in any more games this season because he suffered a tear to his anterior cruciate ligament while playing for Spain in November.
Shortly after his return to Catalonia, Barcelona arranged for him to undergo surgical procedures. For the previous two months, the child has been making progress in his or her recovery.
On the other hand, Barcelona has published photographs of him engaging in light exercise at their Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper base as he moves on to the next stage of his recuperation.
Though there is a visible scar on Gavi’s right knee as a result of the operation, this is the very first time that he has been spotted without the need of crutches.
Gavi is expected to continue to improve over the next few weeks, but he won’t be able to participate in any games until the next season. Also, he will not be able to travel to the Euro 2024 tournament with Spain.
Barcelona is not going to rush his return, and the club is going to handle his return with great care throughout the summer transfer window.
