Liverpool Faces Arsenal with Six Players Out Despite Nunez’s Injury Scare

Liverpool is set to face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, aiming to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table. However, Jurgen Klopp’s side will be without six players, including concerns over the fitness of Darwin Nunez.

The Uruguayan striker, who has been in stellar form since his £85 million move from Benfica in 2022, faced doubts about his availability after being spotted leaving Anfield wearing a protective boot following Liverpool’s 4-1 win against Chelsea. Defender Joel Matip, recovering from an ACL injury, and winger Ben Doak, dealing with a knee injury, remain long-term absentees for Liverpool.
