Spanish football publication Football Espana has reported that Manchester City and Barcelona are both interested in the same player at the same time.

The fact that Pep Guardiola was unable to get Declan Rice during the summer has prompted him to seek out further defensive midfielders to add to his roster. Nevertheless, Football Espana reports that Pep Guardiola is now interested in reuniting with Joshua Kimmich, who is now playing for Bayern Munich. A decision will be made over whether or not to concentrate on Kimmich throughout the summer by the team that won the Champions League last year.

Also, Barcelona has been said to be interested in Kimmich for a long time, but the purchase deal was unsuccessful because the Catalan team was experiencing financial difficulties.

 Kimmich is in the sights of Man City and Barca.
