Grealish was plainly upset with his most recent defeat, which resulted in him being forced to leave the game at Kenilworth Road before halftime.
After 38 minutes, Jeremy Doku came in to take his place, and Pep Guardiola was compelled to make an early substitution by the situation.
Immediately following his exit, Grealish was seen hiding under a training jacket, displaying signs of mental distress. His teammates then attempted to soothe him.
It appeared as though his disposition had marginally improved by the time the halftime whistle blew.
In the process of making his way to the tunnel, Grealish was observed expressing his gratitude to the City supporters who were traveling with him.
Guardiola provided an update following the match, saying that he had not spoken to the doctor about the injury. He stated, “I think it is the groin, maybe quite similar.”
It was sad that he had an injury, but he was feeling really, really well. This has been a challenging season for him, and he has to make a speedy recovery.
The 28-year-old player’s game time has been restricted this season due to issues with his fitness and injuries.
In the past, he was out for six matches due to a hamstring injury between the months of August and September.
Earlier this month, he was taken out of the game to be replaced by another player just 21 minutes into City’s Champions League match against Copenhagen.
