After the game, Grealish walked back through the mixed zone in his England tracksuit.

Waiting for him in a wheelchair was aspiring sports journalist Tom Horn.

The university student was there to try to interview players, and Grealish took the time to stop and properly engage.

Despite being a Manchester United fan, Tom revealed his admiration for Grealish and his City team.

He then revealed that his sister is also a big fan of the 28-year-old, in a “different way”.

Grealish cracked a smile as he mentioned the recent Manchester derby, with City having triumphed 3-0 at Old Trafford.

After a heartwarming chat the pair posed for a photograph together.

Tom later thanked Grealish on social media, gushing that it was “great to talk to him”.

Additionally, he stated that he planned to interview him once again “when I’m a fully fledged journalist myself.”

Grealish made a jesting remark regarding the possibility, stating he would “definitely” conduct an interview under one condition: “As long as you don’t say bad stuff about me.”

The exchange, which was shared on social media, was adored by viewers.

One person exclaimed, “He seems like such a great guy.” I’m happy he’s representing our nation.”

According to a third, “Jack Grealish is an absolute role model.”

“I swear no one takes time out for fans as much as Grealish,” said another.

This season, the England fan favorite has come and gone from the City squad.

Off the field, though, manager Pep Guardiola has nothing but positive things to say about him.

Regarding Grealish, the Spaniard recently stated: “He’s one of the most adored guys in the locker room.” His performance in the last games and his attitude during training sessions have truly pleased us.

“The first and latter years in particular were crucial. Each year he improves. Regarding the neighborhood and the way he looks after the children as well.

“He has excellent relationships outside of the bubble in which professionals live and constantly pauses to scribble signatures.

He’s real, and I enjoy working with him. He’s really family-oriented and sensible. We adore him a great deal.

Grealish will be looking to make his comeback to the international scene when England plays North Macedonia on Monday night.
