Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo has addressed recent criticism surrounding his performance with a composed demeanor, asserting that external noise does not deter his focus or determination.

The talented forward has faced scrutiny this season for perceived shortcomings in front of goal and comparisons to his high-flying teammates such as Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez.

“I am aware of the situations that have occurred and that are occurring and the expectations.”
