In the 25th round of the Saudi Arabia National Championship, Al Nassr will host Al Taee. Coach Luis Castro started C. Ronaldo even though he had recently returned to the team from a trip with the national team.
With three goals, the 39-year-old legend made a lasting impression and helped Al Nassr triumph 5-1. Following his hat-trick, CR7 ran to his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez in the field’s corner to celebrate with her.
Al Tai’s Misidjan player was sent off in the 36th minute, hence C. Ronaldo’s three goals came in the second half with Al Nassr ahead 2-1 and outplayed.
Ronaldo made it 3-1 in the 64th minute with a deft move and a low shot into the opposition’s goal. Three minutes later, CR7 was in the perfect position to kick close range again.
He softly headed a cross from Abdulmajeed Al Sulayhim in the 87th minute to complete the hat-trick that gave Al Nassr FC the victory.
This is the first time Ronaldo has scored a hat-trick since August 2023. Nearing the 900 goal threshold, captain Al Nassr increased his scoring record to 882 goals in 1,214 games.
Al Nassr has 59 points from 25 games, good for second place in the Saudi Arabian championship rankings right now. Still, C. Ronaldo’s club trails leading Al Hilal by 12 points.
At 26 goals, the Portuguese sensation owns the first slot on the scoring chart, 4 goals ahead of Al Hilal’s Aleksandar Mitrovic.
