The English champions are more interested in acquiring Jamal Musiala from Bayern Munich than their competitors, and Manchester City is one of several prominent European teams contemplating a summer deal for the player.
After a disappointing season, the 21-year-old has emerged as one of the continent’s most highly-regarded playmakers, but he needs assurances about the German club’s capacity to contend.
Musiala’s contract expires in 2026, and he hasn’t demonstrated any desire to extend it or get better as his reputation rises. Other teams think they could be able to purchаse him this year or next, with City being the most interested.

The club’s management is keen to enhance their attacking capabilities this summer, particularly with Phil Foden taking on a bigger role and Kevin De Bruyne nearing his mid-thirties. In addition to Michael Olise of Crystal Palace and Lucas Paqueta of West Ham United, there is interest in two players who can play in multiple forward line positions: City wants both players.
But Musiala, who is regarded as one of the world’s next top players, would be a coup above that. Selling off another prominent player might be necessary in order to make such a move.
Given that he was raised in west London and that the Premier League has a huge international prominence at the height of the game, Musiala is believed to prefer moving there. When he was seventeen, the attacker decided to play for Germany instead of England in international competition.
The other teams in the Һunt are Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona, and Liverpool, although each has significant financial limitations..
