Striker Harry Kane is about to receive a huge bonus after meeting a clause in his contract with Bayern Munich.
Bayern Munich has had a difficult season. Thomas Tuchel’s team was eliminated from the German National Cup by third-tier team Saarbrucken, and lost the Bundesliga championship to Leverkusen after 11 seasons of dominance.
The Champions League is the last chance for Bayern to win silverware this season, but in front of them will be formidable opponent Real Madrid in the semi-finals , and then the final with either PSG or Dortmund.
At this decisive stage of the season, the performance of a key striker like Harry Kane will certainly greatly affect Bayern’s overall performance.
Since joining the Allianz Arena team from Tottenham in a £100 million contract last summer, Kane has scored non-stop. The England captain has scored 40 goals and had 13 assists in 41 matches this season, with 33 of them coming in the Bundesliga. He also broke a 60-year-old record for the player to score the most goals in his first season in the Bundesliga.

According to BILD, there is a clause in Kane’s contract that allows him to receive 250,000 euros (218,000 pounds) if he scores more than 40 goals and assists in all competitions in a season. Kane has contributed 53 goals and he still has at least six matches to play, possibly seven if Bayern reach the Champions League final.
Another important clause in his contract is the buyback option, which was revealed by Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy after the transfer.
Although Kane will be happy to receive more money, his main goal right now is certainly nothing more than winning the first major title of his career.
