As reported by Fichajes, Barcelona will look to sign Viktor Tsygankov from Girona if Raphinha leaves this summer.

Viktor Tsygankov has made significant progress since leaving Dynamo Kyiv to join Girona in January 2023. A move to La Liga has been a huge help for the 26-year-old. He contributed significantly to the Catalan team’s success over the past 12 months, with 6 goals and 4 assists after 29 appearances in all competitions.

Tsygankov’s progress easily attracted the attention of several famous clubs across Europe. Recent reports have linked him with Bayern Munich and Barcelona. 

Barcelona’s interest in Viktor Tsgyankov is understandable. The defending champion La Liga is planning for the 2024 summer transfer period, amid a difficult financial situation. The Blaugrana may have to part ways with some highly valuable players to fund new contracts. Accordingly, they can sell Raphinha for a large sum of money, and Tsygankov has emerged as a possible target to replace the Brazilian international at the Catalan giants.
