Liverpool’s next Premier League match is this weekend against West Ham United, following their midweek setback to rivals Everton on the Merseyside.

Cody Gakpo talked about the forthcoming match against the London team, hoping to be in the starting lineup and contribute.

“This game is going to be difficult. This year, I watched a few of their games. “They play really good football and have really good players,” he remarked.

“We need to go there with a great deal of confidence, prepared, and focused. To get the three points, we must travel there. We are there to go there and steal some points, win, and head back home. They play at home and want to give their fans a fantastic game.

Gakpo is eager to keep getting better now that he is back to playing regularly.

“I feel fantastic. I am aware that I am capable of more and better. “I always want to get better,” he declared.

“Playing at Liverpool is more intense than I’m used to; it’s quite intense.” However, I truly enjoy it. Both the club and its supporters are incredible. I felt that the adaptation went pretty well because the group welcomed me so warmly right away.
