If Sky Sports is to be believed, Bayern has reached out to Ten Hag’s agent in an effort to gauge the strategist’s interest in managing the Allianz Arena club.
Even if the Bavarian “Gray Tigers” and the Man U captain aren’t in formal talks just yet, it appears Manchester United captain knows that Germany is interested in signing Ten Hag.
Nonetheless, the strategist, who is 54 years old, insisted that the “Red Devils” remain his primary target. The club’s participation in and eventual victory in the European Cup remаins the primary objective of the Dutch coach. FA.
Despite Manchester United’s lackluster performance this season, Ten Hag remаins optimistic about his future at Old Trafford. Bayern, on the other hand, greatly valued Ten Hag’s adjustments to tactical depth. The German team’s management thinks that Ten Hag’s coaching efforts are hampered by things that happen off the field and by ineffective team operations.
Ten Hag was competent as a coach during his time at Ajax and his debut season at MU. The “Red Devils” had a rough 2023–24 season due to a slew of injuries and the fact that this coach was in charge during a period of change in team ownership.
There are other candidates vying for the Allianz Arena seat besides Ten Hag. Ralf Rangnick was approached by Bayern, but the German tactician made it clear that he wаnted to remain with the Austrian club. Before this squad, Julian Nagelsmann and Xabi Alonso were the managers who turned them down.
Bayern isn’t the only club interested in the 54-year-old mastermind, even if Ten Hag were to leave Old Trafford. The Dutch teacher is reportedly the target of two further clubs.
