Bayern Munich’s efforts to find a coach for the new season seem deadlocked. In a fan referendum organized by Bild newspaper, former coach Hansi Flick topped the possibility of replacing Thomas Tuchel to help Bayern Munich regain the Bundesliga championship.

Bayern Munich is determined not to change its plan to part ways with coach Thomas Tuchel even though finding a replacement is having difficulty. Quality candidates like Xabi Alonso and Julian Nagelsmann have said no. Sports director Max Eberl also denied the possibility of former coach Pep Guardiola returning to Allianz Stadium.

The German press has just reported that Bayern Munich has had the first contact with Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag. This Dutch coach is at rιsk of being fired after the season because the Red Devils played so poorly after losing 0-4 to Crystal Palace that they have no chance of participating in the European Cup next season. Mr. Ten Hag once led the Bayern Munich youth team from 2013 to 2015.

The next ranked candidate is Zinedine Zidane with 13%.
