Mundo Deportivo shared that Barcelona will urgently accelerate the Dani Olmo deal in the near future.

Dani Olmo is one of three strikers that Xavi Hernandez wants to bring to Barcelona this summer. He went through a grinding period at La Masia so he understands the club very well.

Mundo Deportivo now reports that Olmo’s 60 million euro release clause will expire at the end of EURO 2024, specifically on July 15 . That means Barca will have to act quickly.

 Barca needs to quickly carry out the Olmo deal.The Blaugrana need to collect huge sums of money before considering a high-profile transfer from Leipzig. Paying 60 million euros upfront for Olmo seems unrealistic, even if the player himself is willing to make a goodwill agreement with the team.

Barcelona sporting director Deco met with the player’s agent and father in April. They are said to have expressed interest in a deal. English teams will likely make better offers for Olmo , so the Spanish star will need to be consistent with his choice. 

Barca will have to convince the 25-year-old player that they can reach a monetary agreement for the deal.
