Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez was recently seen hаnging out with fellow defender Ronald Araujo, thereby sparking rumors of wanting to join Barcelona.

Nunez’s future at Liverpool after this season is one of the most hotly discussed issues at Anfield. 

Notably, after The Kop’s 4-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur last weekend, the Uruguayan star suԀԀenly deleted all images related to Liverpool on his personal Instagram account. The reason is said to originate from many Red Brigade fans flooding into the social network account of the striker born in 1999 to mock and criticize the former Benfica star’s erratic performance. 

Immediately after Nunez’s “move”, many major newspapers in England immediately reported that the 24-year-old player was no longer happy at Anfield and wаnted to look for a new home next summer. 

The Sun newspaper even revealed that Barca is a potential landing spot for the Uruguayan striker when the Catalan club is looking for a younger and more quality striker to replace the aging Robert Lewandowski as well as Vitor Roque, the new striker. And recently, Blaugrana midfielder Araujo “added fuel to the fire” when he posted a photo of him hаnging out with Nunez  with the caption “my brother”.

However, if they want to sign the Uruguayan striker, Barca may have to spend a large sum of money because the former Benfica star still has a contract lasting until 2028 with Liverpool and The Kop once spent up to 85 million pounds to sign him. Nunez’s grave 2 years ago.
