After Alphonso Davies scored with a right-footed rocket in the 68th minute, Bayern Munich began to think about their match against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final. As Bayern went into a defensive shell to try to stop the coming charge, Real Madrid quickly made two оffensive substitutions.
But because of how physical the game was and the injuries that players had picked up during the long, hard season, Thomas Tuchel had to make some late changes as well. The game changed when Real Madrid scored two goals in three minutes, which was a big surprise.
After the game, Tuchel complained about the bad calls:
“[Harry Kane] couldn’t go on.” All four of the front four had to be taken off. “Harry had a problem with his back,” Tuchel said in his chat after the game, which was caught on camera by @iMiaSanMia.
Again, Serge Gnabry pulled his leg in the first half. Leroy Sané and Jamal Musiala were also taken off before the end of the game.
