Defensa Central revealed that Man City is interested in getting the signature of midfielder Toni Kroos this summer.

Real Madrid and Manchester City have faced each other many times in the Champions League over the years. Most recently, the White Vultures defeated Man City on penalties to advance to the Final.

A report by Defensa Central (via FourFourTwo) reveals Man City are interested in signing Toni Kroos this summer. The English club will be willing to pay him a salary of 13 million pounds per year , with a short-term contract.

Kroos’ current contract with Real Madrid will expire in the summer. And it is unclear whether he will renew to continue contributing to Los Blancos. Man City’s offer of £13 million to Real Madrid is a move worth considering when Kroos is 34 years old.

Pep Guardiola and Kroos once worked together at Bayern Munich. That could be a basis for Man City to be more confident at the negotiating table.

Eberechi Eze  joined Crystal Palace in the summer of 2020, since then he has developed himself strongly and is among the best wingers in the Premier League.

This season, Eze continued to show impressive performance, contributing 9 goals in 22 appearances. Therefore, it is not surprising that the English star received interest from many big teams.

According to sources from Fichajes, Manchester City is reconnecting with Eze. In last summer’s transfer window, they opened negotiations to recruit the 25-year-old player but could not reach an agreement with Palace on the price.

However, at the present time, Man City is willing to put 90 million euros on the negotiating table in exchange for Eze’s services.

Even though they already have a series of excellent wingers in their squad, the defending Champions League champions still want to add more personnel to this area.
