Bayern Munich are apparently seeking to negotiate an arrangement with Thomas Tuchel to retain him as manager.
It was revealed in February that the former Chelsea manager will depart at the conclusion of the season.
It has been a difficult season for the Bundesliga heavyweights, who have lost out on the domestic crown for the first time in 12 years and were eliminated from the Champions League semi-finals by Real Madrid.
Finding a successor has been unexpectedly tough for Bayern, with Xabi Alonso continuing at Bayer Leverkusen, former manager Julian Nagelsmann sticking with the German national team, and ex-Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick apparently turning them down.
According to The Guardian, Bayern are reportedly putting pressure on Tuchel to stay, since their alternatives are limited.
