On this occasion, the German Football Federation (DFB) conducted a very interesting program to introduce the players summoned by Nagelsmann.
Kroos is the leader of Nagelsmann’s revolution
DFB wants to create attention with public opinion, as well as expectations for the first European Championship they have organized since 1988.
An indispensable factor in the German squad heading to EURO 2024 is Toni Kroos, an important star of Real Madrid.
Kroos has just returned to play for “Mannschaft” after announcing his retirement from international career in 2021, winning against France and the Netherlands.
Nagelsmann spent a lot of time convincing Kroos – who contributed greatly to helping Real Madrid win the La Liga championship and reach the Champions League final.
During this EURO, coach Nagelsmann made a revolution by not calling up faces like Serge Gnabry, Leon Goretzka, Timo Werner, Niklas Sule, Julian Brandt, Karim Adeyemi.
Mats Hummels – the author of the goal that helped Dortmund defeat PSG to reach the Champions League final – also did not appear.
Instead, there are new breezes Deniz Undav, Maximilan Mittelstadt, Chris Fuhrich and Robert Andrich.
Germany will play friendlies with Ukrаine (June 3) and Greece (June 7). Nagelsmann will eliminate at least 1 face from the list no later than June 7 (UEFA allows a maximum of 26 players to register).
