Thomas Müller is more than just a player; he’s a talker, a leader, a terrific jokester, a horse lover, and a Schafkopf expert; with his attractive demeanor, the 32-year-old has won the hearts of (Bayern) fans. Müller’s particular charisma and wit set him apart from the crowd, whether he’s working in his job, engaging in charitable projects, or holding media meetings.

Born on September 13, 1989 in Weilheim, Upper Bavaria, and raised in Pähl on the Ammersee, the 1.85-metre-tall Bavarian has been with FC Bayern for 22 years and counting. Müller joined FCB’s youth setup from TSV Pähl in the summer of 2000, when he was 10 years old. He advanced through the development system, played for the FC Bayern reserves, and finally made his senior debut in 2009 – as a genuine Upper Bavarian youngster!

3. Müller will always play

Müller made his Bundesliga and Champions League debuts as an 18-year-old under coach Jürgen Klinsmann in 2008/09, but his true breakthrough came the following season under Louis van Gaal, who uttered the now-famous phrase “Thomas Müller will always play!” The Dutchman honored his promise, playing the dynamic forward in all 34 Bundesliga games, and Müller repaid the trust with 13 goals and 11 assists. Müller has been a first-choice player at his beloved club for the past 12 seasons, impressing coaching greats like as Jupp Heynckes, Pep Guardiola, and Carlo Ancelotti with his exceptional game intelligence, positioning, and mindset.

When asked in ten years what Müller’s greatest strengths were, some Bayern fans may likely respond, “That’s hard to describe and you have to have seen it for yourself.” The versatile attacker possesses the complete package: he can shoot, assist, and sprint; he has coordination, stamina, a strong overview, leadership ability, and ambition. But, to put it simply, Thomas Müller is always in the proper spot, just where there is a threаt. Müller the ‘Raumdeuter’ can be found off the pitch, occasionally holding the Meisterschale and a flag, and on the pitch, frequently in front of the opposing goal.

5. ThomAssist Müller

Throughout his time with FC Bayern and the German national team, one aspect of Müller’s on-field abilities became clear: assists. The majority of the goals were scored by Mario Gómez, Mario Mandžukić, and Robert Lewandowski, with assistance from Müller. The red-hоt link to record-breaker Lewandowski will go down in Bundesliga history. Since 2004/05, no player has had more assists than Müller (151).

6. Radio Müller

Müller is the most active communicator during training sessions at Säbener Straße, the Allianz Arena, and away games. As important as his pleasant demeanor and wisecracking are to the team structure off the pitch, his coaching on it is equally important. “Radio Müller” will be broadcasting constantly until at least 2024!
