With no one to replace Tuchel, Bayern Munich chose the worst coach in the Premier League

According to The Sun, Vincent Kompany, former Manchester City player, currently coach of Burnley FC, is of interest to top German team Bayern Munich. The first concrete discussions with Kompany went quite well.

However, German media expressed difficulty understanding this decision of Bayern Munich’s owners. Vincent Kompany is considered one of the worst coaches this season in the Premier League. He used 95 million pounds from the team but Burnley only ranked 19th in the Premier League with only 5 wins.

Kompany led Burnley back to the Premier League last year, but could not help the team avoid relegation. At Burnley, he favored a 4-2-3-1 tactical scheme, a system that had brought much success to Bayern Munich in the past.

Kompany played in the Bundesliga for Hamburger SV from 2006 to 2008 and is still under contract with Burnley until 2028. In addition to Bayern Munich, Brighton is also interested in Kompany and considers him one of the candidates to replace Roberto. De Zerbi.

Bayern Munich is having many difficulties finding a new coach to replace Thomas Tuchel. Their top targets have turned down offers, including Xabi Alonso, Unai Emery, Ralf Rangnick, Julian Nagelsmann and most recently Roger Schmidt.

Xabi Alonso, Bayern’s favorite, decided to stay at Bayern Leverkusen and also turned down the opportunity to replace Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool. Aston Villa coach Unai Emery did not hesitate to reject Bayern and stay at Villa Park.

Bayern also could not convince Ralf Rangnick, former Manchester United coach, and Julian Nagelsmann, German coach. Most recently, Roger Schmidt, captain of Benfica, also refused the invitation of the Munich team.

Roberto De Zerbi is the next brightest candidate for the “hot seat” position at Bayern, but there is information that he does not want to move to Allianz Arena. Instead, De Zerbi wants to rest before deciding on his next job.
