In their first Euro 2024 warm-up match, England supporters may have been hoping for a little spark, but the Three Lions looked like their normal selves and defeated Bosnia & Herzegovina 3-0 when the substitutes entered the game. 

Against a very strong opponent, Gareth Southgate’s team appeared inert in the first half. However, Cole Palmer’s penalty kick, granted following a VAR review, broke the deadlock, and Eberechi Eze sparkled. 

 With the arrival of the cavalry, England’s players, including Harry Kane, Jack Grealish, and James Maddison, turned the tide. Trent Alexander-Arnold scored a delicious volley, and Kane sealed the win from close range.
