MU transfer news: After Casemiro, Ronaldo continues to ask Al Nassr to recruit another Man Utd midfielder, Bruno Fernandes. If these two deals are successful, Ronaldo could help MU earn up to 200 million euros.
According to CaugtOffside, Al Nassr is targeting two Man Utd stars to complete the squad to compete with Al Hilal. Cristiano Ronaldo personally wants the parent team to recruit two former teammates to strengthen the midfield. Those are Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro.
Casemiro can help Man Utd earn up to 100 million euros.
The Arab team is willing to pay only 90 to 100 million euros for Casemiro’s case along with a generous salary. This is a number that Man Utd can hardly refuse for a star who has turned 32 and seriously lost form last season. Al Ahli also wants to recruit the Brazilian midfielder, but is only willing to pay 40-50 million euros.
However, the case of Bruno Fernandes is different. The Old Trafford team still wants to keep the Portuguese midfielder for the reconstruction plan under the INEOS dynasty. Therefore, Al Nassr needs to make an offer that is strong enough and commensurate with the importance of Bruno Fernandes at MU.
Ronaldo urged Al Nassr to recruit two juniors from Man Utd.
Besides, Al Nassr is also expected to indicate a generous salary for the 30-year-old midfielder. The contract with a salary can reach 70-80 million euros per year in a context where Bruno’s future is in doubt. Fabrizio Romano also confirmed that Bruno Fernandes’ representative Miguel Pinho had a meeting with representatives of several European clubs.
Bruno Fernandes is being valued at 70 million euros by Transfermarkt. However, to convince Man Utd to release him, Al Nassr will have to spend about 100 million euros. If they agree to sell both Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes, Man Utd will earn nearly 200 million euros, a huge number added to the 2024 summer transfer budget.
