Liverpool signed Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich last summer. The Reds could shop in Germany once again, with six players reportedly available for a transfer.
In recent years, Liverpool has looked around the transfer window and sought out relative bargains. Usually, the club will make one or two marquee signings, and then also look for late opportunities in the final weeks of the window.
It happened with Ryan Gravenberch a year ago and Liverpool could go back to Bayern Munich this summer amid reports the Bavarian giants need to offload several high-profile players as soon as possible.
According to Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, the six players in question are Matthijs de Ligt, Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, Kingsley Coman, Serge Gnabry and Noussair MazraouIt is stated that the six players could leave immediately should ‘suitable’ offers arrive, but it hasn’t been ruled out that there could be other departures this summer.
Kimmich has been linked with Liverpool in recent years, and the German’s contract is running out next summer. Goretzka could also emerge as a potential target, should the Reds seek further midfield reinforcements.
Coman and Gnabry could be of interest to the Reds, given Arne Slot’s plans to bring in a wide attacking player this summer. At 27 and 28 respectively, both players may fаncy a crаck at the Premier League. De Ligt meanwhile has struggled to assert himself at Bayern since moving from Juventus two summers ago.
Bayern failed to win the Bundesliga title for the first time in 12 years, and Thomas Tuchel paid the price as Kompany, who left relegated Burnley, replaced him. The club also reached the semi final of the Champions League, but lost to eventual winners Real Madrid.
