According to sources from Catalan newspaper Nacional, Man United is planning to recruit Raphinha by letting Jadon Sancho go to Barcelona in the opposite direction.

A few days ago, a source from Spain said that Barca was willing to sacrifice Raphinha plus cash to sign Kobbie Mainoo from the Red Devils. However, this deal is too difficult to complete, because Mainoo is the treasure of the Old Trafford team.

Most recently, Nacional newspaper reported that Man United is ready to sell Sancho to Blaugrana to sign Raphinha in the 2024 summer transfer window.

The England international was loaned to Dortmund by the Red Devils in the middle of last season after his relationship with coach Erik ten Hag completely broke down. The Dutch strategist will continue to stay at Old Trafford in the near future, accordingly, Sancho will have to leave.

Dortmund wants to buy this 24-year-old player outright, but the valuation of £40 million makes the Bundesliga team unable to afford it. Therefore, Man United offered to sell Sancho to Barca in exchange for Raphinha.

The 27-year-old star plays an important role with Barcelona in the 2022-23 La Liga championship campaign.
