Williams is considered one of the most exciting talents in Europe. His reputation was further enhanced when he shined brightly with the Spanish national team at EURO 2024.
The 21-year-old winger has also impressed for Athletic Bilbao in the last three seasons. And Pedri confirmed that Williams – who has a release clause of £46.5 million – will be a quality signing for Barcelona. “Nico Williams would be a spectacular signing for us, at Barcelona. He is unbelievable,” Pedri told Mundo Deportivo.
“He has shown his ability. I hope Nico can join Barcelona.” When asked if he had spoken to Williams about a move to Barca, Pedri added: “We didn’t talk much about it. That is the decision that Nico and Barca have to make.
