Man City are ready to let goalkeeper Ederson Moraes join Al-Nassr if they receive a reasonable price. This figure is much higher than the previous offer from the Saudi Arabian club.
This summer, Al-Nassr continues to plan to strengthen its squad to compete for the title next season after failing to reach the top of the Saudi Arabian Premier League and the AFC Champions League. Despite possessing many top stars, last season, Al-Nassr only finished 2nd in the Saudi Pro League, 14 points behind the leader (Al-Hilal). In the AFC Champions League, they also had to stop early. And Ederson Moraes is their top target.
Until now, Ederson is still Man City’s number 1 goalkeeper and important to the club. However, the 31-year-old goalkeeper is ready to leave to find a new challenge. According to the British media, Al-Nassr has even reached a personal agreement with Ederson. The remaining task of the Saudi Pro League team is to negotiate with Man City.

Al-Nassr have made an initial offer of €30m (£25m) but this has been rejected by Man City. The Citizens are also willing to sell Ederson but only if they receive a minimum bid of €50m (£42m). Al-Nassr are likely to comply with their partner as they are not short of money due to the support they receive from the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund.
Ederson’s contract with Man City runs until June 2026. The Citizens want to keep him when they offer him a contract extension. However, the Premier League champions will not stop the Brazilian goalkeeper if he decides to leave Etihad. For their part, Al-Nassr is willing to pay Ederson Moraes £900,000 a week. This is the highest salary for a goalkeeper in history.
Last summer, Al-Nassr spent big to bring in a series of stars such as Alex Telles, Sadio Mane, Otavio, Marcelo Brozovic and Aymeric Laporte. Before that, in December 2022, they recruited superstar Cristiano Ronaldo on a free transfer after he reached an agreement to leave MU. Of course, in return, Ronaldo received the highest salary in the tournament.
