DISRESPECT: Celebrating the Euro championship, Morata took the opportunity to troll the German prodigy

During the grand celebration after winning Euro 2024, Spanish captain Alvaro Morata made some eye-catching jokes, including mentioning German prodigy Jamal Musiala.

Spain enjoyed an impressive Euro 2024 campaign , ending with a tҺrilling 2-1 victory over England in the final. This was La Roja’s fourth time winning the prestigious tournament and their first since 2012.

This victory marked a perfect journey for the team under the leadership of coach Luis De La Fuente, with 7 wins in a row, overcoming many strong opponents such as Croatia, Italy (reigning champions), Germany (hosts), France (2018 World Cup champions) and finally England in the final.

After their historic victory, the Spanish team returned to Madrid on Tuesday to a warm welcome from thousands of fans. The celebrations began with a meeting with King Felipe VI and the royal family, followed by an open-top bus parade through the streets of Madrid, with the main stop being the Cibeles Square, where the fans gathered.

In that jubilant atmosphere, captain Alvaro Morata became the center of attention with his energetic and humorous performances. Morata – who has been criticized many times by the Spanish press – enjoyed this moment of glory to the fullest.

He constantly interacted with his teammates, dancing, singing and even composing his own songs to cheer up the crowd.

However, the most notable highlight of the celebration was when Morata mentioned Jamal Musiala, the talented young player of the German team. While introducing right-back Dani Carvajal to the fans, Morata humorously said:

“Where is Musiala? Where is he? The best right-back in the world, Dani Carvajal.” It was a playful tease from Morata, recalling Carvajal’s impressive performance against Musiala in the quarter-final between Spain and Germany, when the Real Madrid defender successfully “suffocated” the German prodigy’s ability to аttаck and create dangerous chances.

Carvajal was rated as having an excellent match against Musiala – one of the most outstanding players of the tournament, contributing significantly to Spain’s 2-1 victory over Germany in the quarter-finals.

Spain’s victory at Euro 2024 is not only a proud achievement for the country’s football, but also marks their strong return to the international arena after a long period of not achieving high results.

With a talented young squad and beautiful playing style, Spain have proven that they are still one of the top teams in the world and will be strong candidates for major tournaments in the future.
