Superstars Erling Haaland and Jack Grealish of Manchester City were among the Premier League winners’ players who met with Shrek series legends on Monday.

After spending several days in New York City, including their second preseason match of their 2024 US tour, Pep Guardiola’s team has now made its way south along the east coast of the country.

The talents of Manchester City got even more vital playing time in an exciting match against the Serie A powerhouse AC Milan, but they lost by a slim margin of 2-3 at the storied Yankee Stadium in the city’s north.

Erling Haaland and James McAtee’s goals put Manchester City within two goals of victory on two separate occasions, but the Italian team’s fierce retaliation meant that Guardiola and his team would still need to win before the 2024–2025 campaign begins.

This summer, City will play two additional friendlies in the USA. First, they will play Premier League rivals before facing La Liga powerhouse FC Barcelona, a former team of manager Pep Guardiola, at Camping World Stadium in Orlando. The host city of Chelsea is Columbus, Ohio.

As Manchester City gear up for their third pre-season friendly of their tour of the United States, Monday has seen a lucky few members of Pep Guardiola’s squad meet with characters of the Shrek movie series at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.
