The 7-foot-2 Afro-French star, who was chosen first overall in the draft, has joined the legendary San Antonio Spurs, joining a squad of basketball greats.

Wembanyama’s eye-catching costume included a sharp-lapeled jacket with a double-breasted wrap suggestive of a kimono, as well as corresponding skinny-fit trousers. He oozed confidence and sophistication as he wore a similar button-up shirt, brown J.M. Weston dress shoes, and a stunning Bismuth stone pendant necklace.

In an interview with an NBA reporter, Wembanyama defined his look as kimono-inspired, emphasising his fondness for a subtle green colour scheme. He stated that the colour green creates an unearthly, alien-like vibe, which adds to his unusual appearance.

Prior to joining the San Antonio Spurs, Wembanyama played for the French professional basketball club Metropolitans 92, where he amassed a large social media following, with over 1.6 million Instagram followers.
