Nikola Jokić, a world basketball star and Serbian pride, has dedicated himself to young judokas from Sremska Mitrovica during the international judo tournament in Sombor.

During his visit to the hall, Jokić met the boys and girls from Sremska Mitrovica, spent time with them, and took a photo together.

 

Aside from being pleased with their performance, the young judokas were most excited to meet this world-class athlete. These outstanding athletes will cherish the opportunity to meet Nikola Jokić as one of the most memorable moments of their careers.

The Sirmium Judo Club’s athletes attend the XIV International Judo Camp, which is now taking place in Sombor. Mr. Slavko Tekić, a world-class trainer, leads the camp for top judo players from the region and beyond.

 

Our national coach, Slavko Tekić, has led the Azerbaijan national team to incredible success, earning two Olympic gold medals as a coach in Paris. His attendance in the Sombor camp is a huge honour for all participants, as it allows them to learn from one of the best in the sport.

In addition to superb training and experienced direction, this camp provided our athletes with another unforgettable experience. They got the opportunity to meet in the same venue with our best basketball player in the world, Nikola Jokić. The ability to share space with such a sporting star made the camp even more meaningful and memorable for everyone there.

Staying at this camp provides participants from the Sirmium Judo Club with not only an opportunity to enhance their skills, but also incentive to strive for top sporting achievements.
