On September 20, 2023, the BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham in Robbinsville, New Jersey, had the honour of welcoming Aaron Gordon, a well-known NBA player and the reigning NBA champion. Gordon’s visit to Akshardham offered a fresh viewpoint on spirituality, harmony, and culture.

Aaron Gordon, known for his outstanding talents and magnetic presence on the basketball court, has had a huge impact on the world of professional sports. He currently represents the defending national champion Denver Nuggets. His vacation to Akshardham sparked a unique blend of creativity, talent, and passion within him. Gordon shared:
“My experience is difficult to describe; it was just fantastic. The intricate and detailed carvings are truly mind-blowing and inspiring in a variety of ways. It’s a tribute to the earth and affection for humanity.”
