Victor Wembanyama named among the top prospects in the 2023 NBA draft on Thursday in New York City. The San Antonio Spurs draughted the French basketball player first overall.

Following the momentous announcement, Wembanyama was immediately honoured on social media, but he wasn’t the only family member to receive special attention. During an ESPN interview, fans were introduced to Wembanyama’s family, which included his older sister Eve. “It is amazing. We’re all quite proud. “We are very happy for you,” the 21-year-old stated in an ESPN interview about her brother’s life-changing news.

 

Eve donned a black suit with a cutaway V-detail across her torso, which looked great with Victor’s kimono-style Louis Vuitton outfit. She completed her sharp black look with a statement red lip, a gold choker necklace, and a curling afro.

She has now gone viral on social media, with her Instagram followers jumping practically overnight and people curious about her background, especially her link to basketball. Fans were startled to hear that Eve, like her brother, plays basketball in the FIBA U16 Women’s European Championship and the FIBA U20 Women’s European Challengers.

The NBA draft, which is organised by the National Basketball Association, began in 1947. During the annual event, teams from across the country select new players, usually college students, who will join the highly competitive league. This year’s NBA draft will be place at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn, New York. The draft is divided into two rounds, the first of which is scheduled for Thursday.
