Zendaya wore a beautiful off-duty look before co-chairing the Met Gala, the biggest night of fashion.
On Monday, the 27-year-old actress was observed walking towards her car in the Big Apple.
As always, the Challengers star exuded flair. She looked effortlessly elegant in a sleek green coat, grey trousers, and unusual black shoes.
Her eyes were covered by a pair of edgy black sunglasses.
The beauty was surrounded by a group of people who appeared to be members of her beauty squad.
She also added a belt to finish the look.
The actress carried a taupe purse adorned with a scarf over her shoulder and wore a beautiful black manicure.
She was met by enthusiastic admirers as she exited the premises and into her waiting vehicle, accompanied by her entourage.
Zendaya is one of the co-chairs of this year’s Costume Institute Gala, alongside Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny, and Chris Hemsworth.
The Costume Institute’s spring exhibition is held annually on the first Monday in May at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
This year’s event is named Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion, and the dress code is The Garden of Time.
Jonathan Anderson, creative director of Loewe, and Shou Zi Chew, CEO of TikTok, will serve as honorary chairs for the event.
‘This year’s co-chairs reflect a variety of career achievements, and all have distinct style histories with the Met Gala,’ Vogue shared.

The showcase will include roughly 250 items from The Costume Institute’s permanent collection, many of which are too fragile to be worn again.
The compositions will all be exhibited using features such as AI, GCI, and more, with themes of land, sea, and sky.
‘It is very much an ode to nature and the emotional poetics of fashion,’ said Andrew Bolton, Wendy Yu Curator in Charge of The Costume Institute, of the upcoming exhibition.
‘One thing I hope this show will activate is that sensorial appreciation of fashion.’
