Zendaya looked stunning in Max Mara’s head-to-toe scarlet costume, which included a sleek red jacket layered over a thick cardigan and stockings. The Spider-Man: Far From Home star wore a stunning make-up look, including a fantastic slick of red lipstick, while her raven tresses billowed in the breeze. It was announced in January that the actress is in talks to play Chani, the love interest of Timothee Chalamet’s character Paul Atreides in Dune. The film is based on Frank Herbert’s 1965 novel of the same name, which was turned into a feature picture in 1984. Kyle MacLachlan plays Paul Atreides, and Sean Young plays Chani.
The story is set in the distant future and follows the Atreides family, which Chalamet’s Paul is about to inherit. When the family is sent to take over the desert planet Arrakis, which is famed for its lucrative spice commodity, they meet increasing opposition from the world’s noble families. Frank Herbert’s original work is widely regarded as the best-selling science fiction novel of all time, having won the Hugo and Nebula awards when it was published in 1965. Zendaya joins Rebecca Ferguson and Oscar Isaac, who play Paul Atreides’ parents, Lady Jessica and Leto.
