Coupled up in London, Tom Holland and Zendaya were recently sighted. Supposedly, on May 12, the actor from Spiderman: No Way Home took her out to lunch. This passionate rendezvous follows the cancellation of his highly anticipated preview of the West End production of Romeo and Juliet just one day earlier. The production, which was supposed to happen at the Duke of York’s Theatre, was scrapped because to “technical” setbacks. Now, “on Monday, May 13,” the limited 12-week play is supposed to begin. Tom Holland enjoyed Sunday afternoon with his real-life Juliet, Zendaya, before stepping into the role of the tragic William Shakespeare figure.
Tom Holland was seen with a short, neat cut in the photos that went viral online. He likely shaved off his signature shaggy locks to play Romeo. Aside from the buzzing on the sides, his hairstyle was somewhat short on top. The performer sported a pair of black slacks and a brown polo shirt. On his shoulders, at an angle, rested a cross bag. For the outing, Zendaya was likewise dressed casually. Wearing loose-fitting charcoal trousers and an oversized pale blue shirt, the Dune actress looked stunning. She was accompanied by a large grey purse. The outfit she wore to her lunch date was completed with a top-tied hair bun, minimal accessories, and cosmetics. As they made their way to the restaurant, photographers caught Tom Holland and Zendaya holding hands.
According to a report by Daily Mail, over 60,000 fans bought tickets in February to watch Tom Holland breathe life into Romeo’s character. However, just a day before the performance they were informed that the stage production, “cannot go ahead as planned due to the technical aspects of the production needing further preparation”, reported Deadline. The play’s press representative Jo Allan PR has confirmed that besides the May 11 glitch, “no other previews are being canceled.”
