On Tuesday night, Denver Nuggets great Nikola Jokić and his 2-year-old daughter Ognjena attended a game against the Vancouver Canucks at Ball Arena, surprising Colorado Avalanche fans.

During the second quarter, the Jumbotron showed Jokić’s daughter cheering along with the audience chanting, “MVP!”

What a beautiful occasion.

The Denver Nuggets’ star center demonstrated his support for his sister KSE squad by applauding and cheering beside his daughter Ognjena.

Jokic had frequented Avs games, and as he was already worked in the building and only a few corridors away, it must have been easy for him to request a glass seat from his supervisor. Jokic has also appeared in games for the KSE-owned NFL team, the Los Angeles Rams.

Jokic’s time in Denver may have piqued his interest in hockey, as there has only been one prominent NHL player from his native Serbia—Ivan Boldirev.

The Avs are seeking for their second straight home win on Tuesday following a long, difficult road trip to the east coast.
