The Denver Nuggets did not go past the second round of the playoffs following the 2023-24 season, but they have great hopes for 2024-25.
Nikola Jokic, a three-time NBA MVP, has returned to the Nuggets and will definitely continue to guide the team to new heights. Before the Colorado Avalanche’s home game against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday, Jokic and Nathan MacKinnon, the 2023-24 NHL MVP, shared an unforgettable moment.
Jokic had the distinction of presenting MacKinnon with the Hart Memorial Trophy for his amazing campaign as MVP in 2023-24.
Nathan MacKinnon received the prestigious award after tallying a career-high 51 goals and 89 assists for 140 points (second in the NHL). The Avalanche, like the Nuggets, did not make it past the second round of the playoffs, but they expect to make a deeper run in 2024-25.
